About The Agri-Tech Innovation Program
The Agri-Tech Innovation Program extends the Humans to Humans mission to a thematically focused program in agriculture, agroecology, agroforestry, organic farming, and pisco-agriculture with an emphasis on technological innovation. The program targets sustainable ventures within the agri-tech space on the African continent.
Following a highly selective process on a rolling application basis, teams will consist of one entrepreneur paired up with two university students. And, this year’s cohort will consist of 25 companies and 50 students.
The Agri-tech innovation program is an online remote collaboration opportunity that is unpaid. So only students interested in the program must submit their application and resume.

How It Works
Following an initial screening process, selected students will be interviewed by two members of the management team. Accepted applicants will then be matched with entrepreneurs based on corresponding demands and skills.
In addition, the entrepreneur’s venture needs to be in line with the Humans to Humans social impact policy based on the UNDP’s Economic, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors. The organisers will conduct in-house due diligence to assess the entrepreneur’s venture’s compliance through a thorough application process requiring official documentation, referrals, interviews, and performance data.
