Do you have an idea that can help sensitize young Africans about the numerous opportunities that abound in the continent’s agriculture technology sector? You can share it in an essay in the ongoing Farmz2u Food For Thought Challenge and stand a chance to win a $100 cash prize as well as a blog feature on the Farmz2u blog.

Farmz2u believes that Africa must be at the forefront of expanding its agricultural production capacity to meet up with the rapid population growth of the continents as well as to help ensure global food sustainability.

Africa is predicted to be accountable for 25% of the world’s population as early as 2050, and since the continent is blessed with an abundance of arable land as well as favourable government policies towards agriculture, the onus falls on Africans to develop its agricultural sector.
