In commemoration of the International Women’s Day with the theme #eachforequal, The Raising Game Changers is inviting women and girls to the Eko Innovation Centre, Ikoyi, Lagos on March 11, 2020.

It is a one-day event that aims to support young women with a passion for entrepreneurship to realize their full potential.

The event will center on the topic, The Future Ready Shepreneurs. Therefore, if you are a woman with entrepreneurial skills with the zeal for success, this is for you.

About Raising Game Changers

The Raising Game Changers aims to contribute to the development of female entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs-to-be. It aims to create a forum for female key players in the MRAH model (Market Access, Renewable Energy, Agriculture, Healthcare & Financial Inclusions). Also, it aims to team up with and enlighten women who have a passion for entrepreneurship, strategies for business development and commercialization.

Additionally, it intends to support women who have a business-driven perception to realize their full potential and capabilities in order to innovatively build their presence and be significant in the Nigerian business landscape. As a result, it is organizing a program to support female entrepreneurs in commemoration of International Women’s Day 2020.

Facilitators At The Raising Game Changers

Adetutu Afolabi

Adetutu is the Executive Director of Wellness Healthcare Ltd. She obtained a degree in Pharmacy at the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State, 2002. Also, she has over 10 years of pharmaceutical experience, and thereafter, attended the Lagos Business School.

Adetutu’s training and personal abilities help her in people management and harnessing individuals’ best abilities into workable partnerships that bring forth hidden capabilities. Also, she delivers medical solutions to people both at home and abroad.

Doja Ekeruche

Doja is a strategic marketing executive, ROI focused marketing leader, Life & Executive Business Coach. She has a proven track record of enhancing the consumer experience, operational efficiency and ultimately profitability of businesses across multiple countries in Africa, Asia, and Europe.

Doja has devised and delivered complex business strategies for large global brands for more than 2 decades. She specialises in revenue growth, marketing strategy, product development, brand advertising, demand generation, marketing campaigns, strategic team leadership, branding, traditional and digital marketing.  

Her expertise includes product innovation within the FMCG industry, renovation of existing ones to enhance value propositions while generating accelerated demand.

Doja earned an MBA from the University of Manchester. Also, she has worked in Ghana, the Philippines, Switzerland, South Africa, and Nigeria.

Toyin Onigbanjo

Toyin is the founder and head cook of August Secret. August Secret produces baby foods such as Veggie Beans, Nutty Meal, Fish Powder and Crayfish powder. She exports packaged baby food to Ghana, New York, the US, and other countries.

Toyin moved from journalism to manufacturing, when she officially began the food processing.  She holds an M.A in Public and International Affairs from the University of Lagos. Also, she is a child nutrition advocate, author, recipe developer, and member, Institute of Food Technology (IFT).

Nkemdilim Begho
