About The School Enterprise Challenge 2020
The School Enterprise Challenge is a free educational program that teaches business and life skills. It supports teachers and students to set up a real business at their school. It is an international business program for schools and run by the educational charity Teach A Man To Fish.
Overall, there is $50,000 in prizes available for the most entrepreneurial schools, teachers and students. And, school from any country can take part.
A School Business:
- Is a real business that is owned by the school and is staffed, operated, and managed by students with the support of their teachers.
- Teaches essential skills and creates young entrepreneurs.
- Is sustainable, growing year on year.
- Generates real profits for your school or important causes in your community.
School Enterprise Challenge 2020 Benefits
There are so many benefits to taking part in the challenge. Students and teachers get the chance to develop essential skills for the 21st century such as;

Certificates And Prizes.
There are prizes stated in Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Then, all schools that achieve their Award Level (Bronze, Silver, or Gold) will receive a certificate to recognize their achievement!
Then, the initiative has $50,000 worth of prizes for the most enterprising schools around the world. They will also be rewarding the most enterprising schools, students, and teachers with a range of cash prizes, conference places, laptops, and cameras.

School Enterprise Challenge 2020 Eligibility Criteria
This challenge is open to all schools, including; pre-primary schools, primary schools, secondary schools, and technical/vocational colleges. However, universities are not eligible to take part in the School Enterprise Challenge.

How To Get Involved
Once you register, you’ll have access to all of the School Enterprise Challenge educational materials, and your own online account to upload your submissions. A teacher at your school will be responsible for facilitating participation in the challenge and guiding students to complete these steps;
Step 1: Coming up with a business idea; using the business guides 1,2,3,4 and the business idea template.
2: Writing a business plan; using the business guides 5,6,7,8,9 and the business plan template.
3: Launching the school business, making sales and writing an annual report; Using the business guides 10,11,12,13,14 and the annual report template.
