Ubi Franklin is a Nigerian music artist manager and a serial entrepreneur. He is the MD/CEO of Made Men Music Group (Triple MG) record label, Instant Apartment, and Instant Pickup Logistics.

Ubi Franklin Background
Ubi Franklin Ekapong Ofem was born on the 2nd of February, 1986 in Cross River, Nigeria to Mr and Mrs Ofem as the 11th of fifteen children. Franklin attended Nursery and primary school in Calabar, after which he went on to Madonna University to study Law. He was once married to Nollywood actress Lilian Esoro, and he is blessed with four lovely children.
Ubi Franklin Career
Ubi Franklin started his career as a personal assistant to the popular comedian – Julius Agwu. Franklin, however, utilized his time working with Julius Agwu by learning a lot about the Nigerian entertainment industry.

After he left Julius Agwu, he went on to work with his brother on Intern Show as an Assistant Production Manager. While working with his brother, he learned a lot about the business world. He also worked with the comedian and producer – AY Makun, and other artists, before he started promoting shows and getting paid for gigs.
Made Men Music Group (Triple MG)
Made Men Music Group (Triple MG) is a Nigerian record label, that was founded by Ubi Franklin in September 2012. Ubi Franklin is not only the CEO but also the manager of all artistes under the record label. Artistes that have signed up with the record label thus far are Iyanya, Tekno Miles, Emma Nyra, DJ Coublon, Selebobo, Chibbz, and Baci.

Iyanya, however, left the record label in 2016 on the grounds of financial mismanagement, bad business decisions etc. Tekno Miles, Emma Nyra, DJ Coublon, and Baci have also left the record label, to scout for greener pastures in their various careers. Triple MG is left with only Selebobo and Chibbz, so, Ubi is in search of new artists he would sign up, and manage.
Instant Apartment
Ubi Franklin founded Instant Apartment in 2017. Instant Apartment is an online platform that provides short to medium term accommodation for those on a vacation, a business trip, or a short get-away. The apartments provided is like a proper house with a kitchen so guest can feel at home even though they are away from home.

Instant Pickup
Instant Pickup was launched on the 20th of July 2017, by Ubi Franklin at the Landmark Centre, Oniru, Lagos. It is an online service focused on retailing laundry and dry cleaning services in Nigeria. Instant Pickup is a comfortable, stress-free online market place that seeks to connect dry cleaning services to their ideal clients.
The company runs its operation through the mobile application. Firstly, customers would download the application on their phone, then search for a laundry house around, and make a request. In no time, someone would be at your doorstep to pick your dirty clothes, take them to the dry cleaner and then deliver them to you clean and fresh.

Instant Ryde
The company operates a web cab service similar to Bolt and Uber, but with presence in only Abuja, Uyo and Calabar. Ubi Franklin launched the mobile application in 2018. The service is affordable and provides comfort to its riders.
Ubi Frankin as a Public Speaker
Ubi Franklin is also a public speaker, as he has spoken at several conferences and youth summits. He was one of the speakers at the Youth Enterprise Conference (YEC) that was organized by Otunba Akin Alabi – Founder of Nairabet.
At the Hub Business Conference organized by Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Ubi shared the stage with Ibukun Awosika – Chairman of First Bank, and Richard Mofe Damijo, a veteran Nollywood actor, as a speaker.
He was also one of the speakers at the Digital CEO Africa Summit, and the Niger Delta CEO’s Summit.
